Client Manager

Step into an engaging role as a Client Manager at Edgewater Associates, where you’ll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional client service and supporting the operational framework of the Isle of Man’s premier financial advisory firm. This position is instrumental in ensuring seamless client experiences, robust administrative support, and efficient processes while contributing to our mission of excellence in financial planning and insurance services.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships while providing administrative and operational support to the Edgewater team. Your key responsibilities include:

Client Support and Administration

Serve as the initial contact for clients and business stakeholders, providing outstanding service and referring to specialist teams as necessary.
Assist clients with non-advice-related queries efficiently and professionally.
Arrange client meetings for Financial Consultants, ensuring all materials and documentation are ready for discussions.
Prepare bespoke financial planning reports and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
Process new business applications, renewals, and ongoing plan maintenance in compliance with company procedures.
Record and maintain client information in internal systems.

Business and Compliance Support

Ensure all tasks align with Edgewater Associates’ policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Participate in ad-hoc projects and support business initiatives aimed at improving performance and client experience.
Identify and promote cross-selling opportunities to support company objectives.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with Financial and Insurance Consultants to maximise business opportunities.
Liaise with internal compliance teams to maintain accurate and compliant records.
Contribute ideas for improving business processes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Principal Accountabilities

Support the achievement of Edgewater Associates’ business objectives as outlined in the company’s business plan.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and ensure all work adheres to company standards.
Participate in staff training, meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience in a similar client-facing or administrative role, with a strong emphasis on customer service.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Strong numeracy and verbal skills, with high attention to detail.
A proactive, professional approach to work, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM systems.
A can-do attitude with the drive to go above and beyond for clients and colleagues.

Working Relationships

You will liaise with:

Clients, line managers, and internal teams across Edgewater and MFG.
Financial and Insurance Consultants to optimise client referrals and maximise business opportunities.
Compliance staff to ensure the accuracy and integrity of client records.
